Use it as reference whenever you are unclear about something, or need to brush up on the rules.Keep an eye on your email. Job listings are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. Compensation varies, as no two jobs are created alike. We intend on making you fully aware of compensation information so you can make informed decisions when choosing bookings.Be prepared. Checklists are made available for reference, and many items can be borrowed from Cait's Paints.Tip Jars are not allowed at private events, unless otherwise noted. Do not solicit tips, but thank anyone who tips you!Clean your Kit. Sanitation of products and the use of disposable applicators ensures your safety as well as the health of those you paint. Wear your uniform. Cait's Paints t-shirt, khakis, black shoes, apron, name tag. We dont mind a funky costume now and then either if the occasion calls for it!Be on time. You are expected to also help break down if necessary.Phones should be charged and turned on the day of an event; we may need to get in touch with you.Clients First. They might be irritating, difficult, whatever, but keep your cool, and try to accommodate.Need A Break? Take one! We expect you to be responsible about managing your time on the job...but lunch and potty breaks can't wait forever!Care for your car. You will need reliable transportation to and from your bookings. A car that constantly breaks down and affects your performance on bookings is a liability to you.Self promotion is not allowed. You may not contract outside work with Cait's Paints clients. There is a place on the back of the business cards to write your own name, so that clients can request you or list you as a referral for future events. Additional business cards can be requested at any time.Submit receipts of applicable fees for reimbursement. We expect the charged to be reasonable!Submit any reports that are asked of you in a timely manner so we can close out the charts for finished gigs. Accurate information helps us make better decisions in the future (we do not report your earnings from festivals or tips, but knowing your profits helps us decide which events are worthwhile)Calling out sick should be reserved for absolute emergencies. Make a point to exchange phone numbers with other artists in case you need last minute coverage. Carry liability insurance. Clowns of America International, The World Clown Association, and Specialty Insurance Agency are some suggestions. Profiles can be updated whenever you'd like. Feel free to submit additional photos or content via email! Remember that you can only submit photos you have rights to!Stay Flexible. Things change. Venues, schedules, weather...this can be an unpredictable job at times. Smile! And others will smile with you :)
