Caitlin St. Angelo: OwnerDOB: 4/23/90 Hometown: Hopatcong, NJCurrently lives in: Hopatcong, NJCaitlin St. Angelo, the mastermind behind Caits Paints, never envisioned owning her own company. During a high school class Caitlin began working on a general business structure, but she never planned on taking it to actualization. "This has definitely evolved greatly," Caitlin said. "I took it to fruition and I edited it. Now its expanded, revamped and grown so much."Even though Caitlins always been an artist, the company idea came before the actual art. Once she became interested in body art and discovered the body art community, her company expanded to incorporate it. As the owner of the company Caitlin is quite a busy lady. From inputting data on the computer to painting at an event, Caitlin has a wide range of activities she can be working on. "I feel like Im really boring sometimes. Then I realize I paint people for a living" Caitlin said.

Before Danielle started working for Caitlin she was having difficulty finding a job between juggling paralegal and law classes at Sussex County Community College and taking care of her daughter. When she knew Caitlin needed an assistant, she jumped at the opportunity. As far as assistant work goes, the typical work day for Danielle is always evolving. "I do pretty much anything Caitlin needs help with," Danielle said. "Anything she needs, Ill do." Some days she plugs away on the computer and organizes, while other days she runs errands or picks up supplies. "One time she had me pick up a mouse for her snake," Danielle said.
Carlos Aranzazu: PhotographerDOB: 4/24/72Hometown: Brooklyn, NY Currently lives in: Union City, NJWith Carlos Aranzazu, owner of Gray Door Studio, a photography studio that specializes in fashion, portrait and publicity photos, Caits Paints collaborates on photo shoots.Together Carlos and Caitlin have worked on projects such as painting and then photographing superhero and villain themed models and black light models.Carlos said with Caits Paints each step of the way is a very collaborative process of discussions and decisions. With the black light paint, Caitlin thought of the idea and then Carlos did the research. "When we talk about ideas we bounce back and forth, Carlos said. When we did the superhero shoot we literally sat down and we looked through I dont even know how many superheroes and villains to figure out what we were going to do. And then we designed the shoot around the body type of the model. "Through a mutual friend, Carlos stepped into the picture of Caits Paints. Carlos found out Caitlin wanted to do artist seminars and from there they began collaborating. Carlos has been in the photography business since he was thirteen. He also does video work.
Lynne St. Angelo: Manager of Manager (aka MOM)DOB: 1/28/56Hometown: Hopatcong, NJCurrently lives in: Hopatcong, NJEven though Caitlin may have never envisioned Caits Paints taking off, her mom, Lynne St. Angelo, knew it all along."From the time Caitlin was four years old shes been doing something artsy," Lynne said. "She started designing her own clothes when she was four. Art has always been her passion."Also an artist, Lynne helps out at various events by painting faces, henna and glitter tattoos for Caits Paints. Cait has found her to be an invaluable source of help as she worked to launch Cait's Paints.Aside from helping with the actual art work, Lynne is one of Caitlins biggest supporters and fans. Lynne has always been drawn to art and believes that artists always have to keep doing something expressive. "I dont think artists have a choice," Lynne said. "When they do things with their hands they just have to keep doing it."Lynne went to college for art and now she owns Needles & Pins Alterations, a custom embroidery and tailoring shop in Hopatcong.
